It claims: " No lash can escape! Scandalous volume, no clumps! Easy to remove."
Right, let's start with their claim for this mascara.
"No lash can escape! - Well, I didn't find this to be entirely true. It has a pretty big wand, which makes it hard to get to the lashes along the inner corner of the eyes. It definitely didn't coat the lashes along the outer corner of my eyes either.
"Scandalous volume, no clumps!"- No, I wouldn't agree with this statement. It doesn't give "scandalous" volume. It does add volume but nothing to write home about! As for the second part of the statement, "no clumps". Dear Lord, this is definitely not the case! That is the main issue I have with this mascara! It's way too clumpy! One coat is enough because when you build it up, it just causes the lashes to clump together. I don't know if it's just the formula of the waterproof mascara but it seems really thick and gets EVERYWHERE no matter how careful you are with it!
"Easy to remove"- I do 100% agree with this statement. Even on those lazy nights when I use a wet wipe to remove my makeup, it comes off pretty easily. I find I don't have to excessively rub my eyes to remove it like I would need to with other mascaras.
Overall, I have a love/hate relationship with this mascara. It lengthens my lashes but what I need is to add volume to the lashes because my lashes are already pretty long. And I just didn't get that from this mascara. I prefer to use this during the day because it doesn't add much drama to the eyes and it does leave the lashes looking beautiful! However, another thing worth mentioning is, I did find it did tend to move southward as the day progressed, which was disappointing. At the end of the day it looked as though I hadn't applied mascara at all. It kind of disappeared from my eyes!
I do love Rimmel as a brand though. It is one of my favourite "drugstore" brands, but when it comes to mascara's I always feel they are lacking something.
That is just my opinion though! It might work for you but that's just my experience with the mascara! ッ
